Developer Notes
The intense class balancing that started in April has been completed as of this patch. Of course, I do not think this patch is perfect, so this will not be the end of it; I will continue balancing as needed. However, the DPS disparities between characters became so large that I had to provide a quick remedy. The classes that I touched in this patch were those that were deemed strong. Since I wanted them to be about as strong as each other (to avoid the situation where some classes were nerfed and others were left as strong) it was easiest to save them for last. Depending on their status prior to this patch, some classes dropped drastically, while others were not as affected. Despite this, we are still better off than we were before.
After this patch, I plan on attending to the playstyle of certain classes, prioritizing classes in which playstyle is the major problem. If your class does not have problems with DPS, your playstyle may change, but your DPS will not. Or, if you are skilled, your playstyle may improve along with your DPS. This is why some of the classes in the previous patches went through skill changes but no DPS changes. Of course, we are aware that there is room for error, and we will continue to perform external and internal tests. We are always listening to your feedback.
