Developer’s Notes (Chaos Mage)
General
Although Chaos Mage was one of the first Awakening classes, most of her skills were useless, so we prioritized revamping her. This should not affect her DPS, but rather make her easier to play.
Removed Force Mirror Dependence
She had SP restrictions because of her reliance on Force Mirror from the War Mage tree.
As such, we changed the base Force Mirror and added its debuff to Gravity Blast EX.
In addition, we are planning to revamp Force Shield and Force Mirror for War Mage.
Adjusted Skill Positions
We have adjusted the cast locations of skills like Gravity Blast, Triple Orbs, and Black Hole.
Increased Control of Balls of Gravity
Gravity Rush and Focus Gravity were awkward skills that relied on Balls of Gravity and cooldowns.
We reduced their cooldowns and increased the Balls of Gravity duration, so that you can use your Awakening actives whenever you want.
We have also added an Awakening for Gravity Trap, which increases the duration of Balls of Gravity, and gives you more options for using your Awakening actives.
Improved uncommonly used skills that are clearly Chaos Mage skills
Summon Comet and Meteor Storm were not previously a part of her Awakening, so we have added an Awakened Meteor passive for the both of them.
This is intended to fill in the rotation gaps when Fast Forward is on cooldown, and increase the usage of Meteor Storm.

Developer’s Note: Since the offensive and defensive buffs shared a cooldown, you could only use one of them, which made the other one useless. In addition, since Stalwart Spirit is a defensive buff, it restricts your movement, which is difficult to deal with because of boss patterns in nests. As such, we separated the two skills.
